I’m so sorry
I am so sorry that I am so guarded. I am not good with begin open. But I love you so much. I love that you are an amazing man. I love that you want to accept me as I am. I am so sorry that I haven’t achieved full honesty. But that stops now. I will be open with you and love you. I will be expressive and let you know whats going on. I am sorry I try to internally stress. No longer.

I just want you to know that you truly are the coolest, smartest, hippest, funnest, most enchanting, caring, loving, and beautiful person I know. Yes! Somehow that IS possible.
I am constantly impressed by all that you do, say, and know and I will always be running to keep up with you.
Thank you for being my best friend for over a year and a half. I can’t believe how much we’ve grown individually, in Christ, and together.. but I’m so blessed that you decided to fall in love with me ;)

Dearest you,
I’ve been thinking of you all day today and reflecting on all our times spent together. It seems that no matter what it is we do, it always makes me love you even more.
I just want you to know that I understand sometimes we don’t (and won’t) always see eye to eye, and that’s okay. I shouldn’t have to remind myself this, but I guess I need to.
Yes, we’re not always going to have “it” all figured out at the same time, or be on the same page. That’s okay too! Because you know what?? I love you so immensely more than all those small little differences. And you know what else? We’re highly capable adults that can always… Always talk things through, bounce ideas off each other, ask for advice, express concerns, and do it all with patience, openness, consideration, love, and understanding. Because that is what you always desserve.
I am so sorry that sometimes I can come across as some sort of bipolar freak or a crazy irrational person. But I need you to know that I love you despite my faults and overreactions to differences, and that I never intend to hurt you. I’m working so hard to figure myself out, to figure out our communication, to help unbuild any walls, and to live my life in such a way that I can exude God’s love in all situations. To do this, I truly have to give myself to God and trust in his plan. We all do… and I will always need your prayers in this.
Always remember that God’s love has been gifted to us. Because we have accepted love, we can love in return.
Also, I have a confession: I listened to Lana Del Rey for awhile while I was working tonight, just to feel close to something that reminded me of you.. in a good way. It just helped remind me to loosen up, and that even if she wants to go get high and just be happy (lyrics), that honestly I did overreact the last time I gave you my opinion on her music. Her voice honestly isn’t annoying, it just moves in and out of my personal taste. Normal. And yes, this is just an example.
Point being, I don’t want to lose the way we’ve been as friends. I’ve always admired how we connect on the simplest of levels. Please never stop showing me new music, like when we’re driving alone in the car, because I love being a part of every aspect of your life and I do love experiencing every new discovery along with you.
I trust you fully and am with you through the thick and thin.
I’m here with you, Megan, because it’s always you.

Today marks 6 months together.
Today celebrates 6 months having the truest form of friendship.

We all
mess up. It’s life. It’s sin and human nature. Nothing you do could make me love you less because I know your heart. Do not fear the unknown or the territory of doubt. If one thing is true it is that I am holding your hand through -all of it whether you like it or not. So we learn from this and we keep our heads up optimistically because God gave me you. I don’t want ANYONE else. You get me.
We have our quirks, our tendencies, and our mistakes but the greatest of these is our love. Don’t forget that.
